Halloween is just around the corner and there are events popping up all over town!
If you are still looking for places to check out, here are a few of our favourites…
1. Sickening Ball
If you’re a fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race, don’t miss out on seeing some of the most famous Drag Queens perform live. The line-up includes Alaska, Sharon Needles, Shea Coulee and Karen From Finance.

2. Sea Life Nights
Sea Life Melbourne will continue its popular after-dark series with a Halloween theme. Adding to the dreamy aquatic atmosphere will be roving performers, ‘Murderous Mermaids’ and zombie bartenders.

3. Hauntville
Looking for a more festival-like experience? Hauntville will have you covered with two haunted house experiences, spooky carnival games and performers. They’ve even got a bar and special early trick or treat sessions for kids.

4. Halloween Alley
Here’s one of the best places to check out if you are still looking for your chilling outfit. It has popped up in Melbourne for the season and you’ll find everything from spooky movie costumes to heroes of the big screen.

5. Poof Doof & Rock City Halloqween
After the success of previous years, this LGBT event will return with a huge line-up of DJs and performers including Zoe Badwi, Jawbreakers and Zero Percent. The party will be fully fitted out over three levels.

6. Halloween Melbourne
The people behind Supersmall Club are throwing a big dress-up party which is FULL of free stuff, including apple bobbing, fortune telling, magic shows, make-up stations and of course a photo booth. Known for their Golden Gaytime and Coco Pops Martinis, you can expect great drink specials too!

7. Maiden Zombie Apocalypse & Horror House Halloween Party
Another LGBT event, this party will host a big DJ line-up throughout the evening. Bloody cocktails, a Scarehouse, Horror Queens performers and ‘trick or eat’ will be on throughout the night. Get there from 10pm-11pm for free Champagne!

8. Old Melbourne Gaol
Feel like walking the haunted halls of one of Australia’s most infamous prisons? Explore the attraction after dark and find out the stories of some of the notorious criminals, including Ned Kelly. You may even hear the creak of the Hangman’s rope!
