In support of drought-affected families throughout Murrumbidgee, a new initiative has been developed offering kids from the opportunity to head out on one of four off-road adventures.
The 'Giz a Break' drought initiative will take 40 drought-affected kids between the ages of 14-17 years, on an adventure through the New South Wales and Victorian High Country as part of a program, funded under the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network's inaugural pitch night.
There will be no shortage of entertainment throughout the program with four-wheel driving, hiking, camping and fishing on the cards.
Bronte and Sam spoke with 'Giz a Break' co-founder Soenke Tremper about the drought initiative and how the community can get involved.
