Mount Isa man cooked a steak on a shovel

A Mount Isa man by the name of Dazza has shared his outback experience with JB.

All week JB has been attempting to cook different items, with only the heat of the sun.

He has so far pretty successfully cooked a cake inside of a car which serves as a big reminder to never leave pets or children in the car, especially in summer.

Sure the cake was a little gooey, but nonetheless, it was edible.

He through it to the phones on the JB Breakfast Show on 13 12 16 where Dazza called and went one better.

Years ago with the help of his mate Corey, a bet was made for $100 of whether they could cook a steak on a shovel!

By leaving the shovel in the Hot Mount Isa sun for an hour and putting down a little secret greasing of the shovel, they through the steaks on and heard a sizzle.

Half an hour later Dazza and his mates tucked into their arvo steak!
