More details have been released about the suspicious death of a 54 year old mother of three at Murray Bridge last night.
Police say that she was "brutally murdered" after a passer-by saw a man attempting to kick down her door around 8pm.
The person walking their dog called Police and by the time they arrived found the deceased inside the Albert Street home.
The suspect, described as about 44 years of age, Caucasian appearance, with a medium build, short balding hair and a possible rat's tail remains on the run.
He was last seen at Elizabeth and Railway Tce, Murray Bridge just after 9pm wearing a faded red t-shirt and jeans with no shoes.
The man is known to Police and they're urging him to seek advice from a solicitor and come forward.
It's believed a number of other people also know who is responsible for this murder.
The pair are believed to know each other but not in a de facto or domestic relationship.
