More than 10,000 converge on Wagga for Junior Touch State Cup

The Junior Touch State Cup Southern Conference gets underway in Wagga today, tipped to bring more than 10,000 to the city over the weekend.

Set to bring a huge economic boost in the order of $3 million dollars, 198 teams have registered.

Some special guests will be dropping by as well, with the Hogs for the Homeless tour in town.

Brad Fittler, Beau Scott, Nathan Blacklock and Ian Schubert will be at the carnival to meet young fans and share some tips.

Council is advising motorists to be aware of changed traffic conditions.
