There's relief for some diehard Newcastle Jets fans who've missed out on tickets to Saturday's sold-out A-League grand final at McDonald Jones Stadium.
The club has managed to secure tickets from the FFA, which will be given straight to members.
"There are pockets of tickets that sponsors and other A-League clubs don't use," Jets CEO Lawrie McKinna said.
"We'll be getting in contact with some of the members who missed out on tickets. You might not get your full ticket allocation, but some members will get some tickets."
Those lucky enough to get tickets, will be emailed over the next day or so.
Meantime, the club is still working with Newcastle and Lake Macquarie councils on setting up three live sites for fans to watch the game on a big screen.
King Edward Park and Speers Point Park have been mentioned as possible locations.
