Earlier this week, footage emerged showing a fan grabbing Miley Cyrus and kissing her on the head during a recent trip to Spain.

The footage went viral because what happened was of course, uninvited, disturbing and gross, however, the reactions from actual human beings who have read articles and seen the video were unfortunately, just as horrific.

When we first wrote about this incident on Monday, our Facebook post was flooded with many comments from those justifying what happened to the 26-year-old and suggesting that it was ‘okay’.

Here are just a few:

“Since when does Miley care about ANYONE touching her in ANY way?"

“She brought this unwanted attention to her by her own doings."

“My gawd why would you do that? Where has her mouth been?"

“Lmfao like Miley had it coming just watch her you vids lmfao I wouldn’t even complain bout it”

Now, the 26-year-old has responded to the incident and the disgusting reaction from too many people, on Twitter:

“She can be wearing what she wants. She can be a virgin. She can be sleeping with 5 different people.

“She can be with her husband. She can be with her girlfriend. She can be naked.

“She CAN’T be grabbed without her consent. #DontF*ckWithMyFreedom”

It’s really not that hard to understand folks.

Once again, let’s use this negative story to draw focus to something much more helpful to this world, like Miley’s Happy Hippie Foundation.

Happy Hippie aims to fight injustice facing homeless, youth LGBTQ youth, and other vulnerable populations.

Nice work, Miley!
