Mildura Police make an arrest - following traffic stop

Mildura Police have arrested and charged two people; after a vehicle intercept over the weekend.

Officers stopped a car on Sixteenth street, the 33-year-old driver reportedly found to be in possession of a substantial amount of cash.

The 30-year-old female passenger was allegedly in possession of what appeared to be methyl amphetamine.

The two have been remanded into custody, the man charged with deal with the proceeds of crime, the female passenger now facing drug related charges.

The two will appear in court at a later date.
