Mildura Police have charged a Belmont driver, following a traffic stop on Deakin Avenue.

Police will allege she returned a positive result to a preliminary breath test, officers testing her a second time at Mildura Police Station.

The 50 year old reportedly returned a reading of 0.220, a reading more than four times over the legal limit.

Her license was cancelled on the spot for 12 months, her vehicle has been impounded.

She will face court at a later date.
