Melbourne's Weather Forecast For Christmas Day Is Here And It's Looking PERFECT

Christmas Day will be warm and dry, early forecasts from the Bureau of Metrology predict.

Dean Stewart senior forecaster says while Christmas Day will hit 31C in Melbourne, a southerly change coming through on Christmas Day means the big day is likely to reach around 29 degrees.

He says there’s likely to be unsettled conditions leading up to Christmas, with more showers and rain on the way on Wednesday.

Melbourne will reach 26C on Wednesday, 24 on Thursday, with humidity and temps falling across the weekend. 

A southerly change is expected to move across Melbourne on Christmas morning.
