Melbourne has got a lot going for it – not only are we lucky enough to have an amazing art scene, our local zoo is home to some amazing animals!
Unfortunately, some of the residents at Melbourne Zoo are critically endangered, so Zoos Victoria are putting on an evening that combines both art and animals. Presenting… Neon Playground.
For two weeks in April, you’ll be able to experience the zoo like never before. Walk through the 600 metre neon maze, enjoy food and drinks from Relaxoland in the Zoo’s Carousel Park, and immersive yourself into Graeme Base’s book Waterhole. Oh, and there is The Wiggle's Frog Disco for the young and young at heart.
All proceeds from the event will go towards saving the Southern Corroboree Frog. It’s estimated that only 100 individuals live in the wild and they definitely worth keeping around.
Where: Melbourne Zoo
When: April 12th-27th
