Mean Girls’ Jonathan Bennett Reveals What Happened When He Came Out

In the latest episode of ‘FaceTime with Justin Hill', Mean Girls' Jonathan Bennett opened up about what happened when he finally came out to the world.

Justin Hill asked Jonathan about his relationship and how fans have reacted to finding out he’s a part of the LGBTQI+ community, labelling them as a dreamy couple. 

Jonathan touched on how he likes to keep his privacy when it comes to relationships, not because of his sexuality, but because it’s a part of his private life he wants to keep away from the public. 

“If I was straight I wouldn’t talk about my relationship, so why should I talk about it because I’m gay?

“You’re in a weird position - then you want to say something so people know, but then you’re like, ‘why don’t I just live my life how I live it and then if people, whatever they see from it they can see from it - it’s my life and I’m going to live it the way I want to’.

“It’s 2018 and I don’t have time for that sh#$ anymore. 

“So I just did it… and when people caught on, people flipped out.”

“I’m very proud of my relationship and being a part of the LGBTQ community… and I never want that to waver for a second.

“I’m making a point to make sure to live honest and open.”

Jonathan opened up about the messages he gets from fans, touched by him coming out and how that has given them the confidence to come out and accept their identities.
