Man Spotted Reading A Book While Driving On Busy Freeway

Footage has emerged of a man reading a novel while driving on a busy freeway.

The incident happened on the Princes Highway in Melbourne, with the van doing speeds of 100km/h.

The video is believed to have been taken just past Doherty's Road at roughly 5pm yesterday.

In Victoria, driving while distracted attracts a $387 fine and three demerit points.
