In breaking news, a construction worker has been crushed by a brick wall on a worksite in Brisbane's south.
Early reports suggest that the man, believed to be in his 50s, fell approximately two metres from scaffolding on the site in Capalaba.
There are unconfirmed reports that this fall happened when a wall collapsed.
Emergency services are at the scene, with the incident happening just after 1.30pm today.
The man has been rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.
He is believed to have sustained head injuries.
Investigations into the incident are underway, with a Workplace Health and Safety inspector at the scene.
