Malaysia’s last male Sumatran rhino has died – tragically dashing homes of saving the critically species. 

The rhino, named Tam, was about 30 years ago when he assed away at a wildlife reserve in Malaysian Borneo 

The Sumatran rhino is the smallest species of rhinoceros and was declared extinct in the wild in 2015. 

There’s an estimated 30-80 Sumatran rhinos left in the world, with

Wildlife experts estimate that only about 30 to 80 Sumatran rhinos remain in the world, mostly on the Indonesian island of Sumatra and on the Indonesian side of Borneo.
