After last night’s episode of Married At First Sight, it was pretty clear to all of us that things between Davina and Dean were going to heat up very quickly, but we didn’t think it was this quickly.
This week on MAFS was “YES” week and Tracey was put in control and she wasn’t going to play nice.
As she said, “it’s karma”, not only for the commitment ceremony but also because of the I’m-from-Sydney-so-I-don’t-know-how-to-commit comments.
But, he kept texting Davina behind Tracey’s back… because of course, he did.
Speaking of Davina, “YES” week got a bit more intense for her and Ryan, with him getting a tattoo of her on his arm because he truly wants their relationship to work.
Davina also got a heart tattoo to represent her relationship with her new husband, however, she says there’s no “romantic connection” between them and she really got the tattoo because “why not?”
“We’re young and dumb.”
Of course, right in the tattoo parlour, she says that Dean gives her butterflies and she’s agreed to meet him secretly.
Every other couple seemed to be enjoying the "YES" week.
Nassar had Gabrielle dress up in fancy dresses to clean their apartment, Patrick tried to give Charlene a massage and unfortunately, failed miserably and John and Mel just had lots of laughs.
Sarah and Telv had a small fight but recovered later in the evening, but Mat and Alycia were having a lot of trouble.
Mat feels like he's not good enough for Alycia and she doesn't know why he's so self-depreciating.
In the end, Mat decided to call it quits.
This was the only couple to end their journey tonight, whilst another started a whole new journey of their own.
Davina and Dean are about to go and meet up together and even though he says he likes Ryan a lot, Dean says that if he sees someone he likes, he's gonna go for it.
Funnily enough, Davina says that Dean is everything she wants in a man and that if there's something she wants, she goes and gets it.
So they both think alike... clearly.
There's flirting, there's touching... it's like watching two high school kids try and hint that they like each other, they make it completely obvious but wait for the other person to make the first move because they don't want to.
After a chat about their relative partners and more flirting, Davina admits that she wants to kiss Dean and that's the final nail in the coffin.
Ryan and Tracey are in trouble.
So, to sum up, tonight we have:
One couple splitting up, another couple fighting and then making up, plenty of couples just having a good time and two people, who aren't married, but who are flirting with each other anyway and two more people who are about to get their hearts stomped on.
Oh, MAFS, there's too much happening here!
