What’s better than watching people fall in love (or cheat and fight the whole time) on our TV screens? Why, watching people fall in love on our TV screens… on a tropical island of course!

Yes, we’ve been obsessed with dating on a beach since Temptation Island, and after the success of Love Island and Bachelor In Paradise, Channel Nine wasn’t going to allow Married At First Sight to get left out.

New rumours have started circulating that a new show titled Married At First Sight: Honeymoon Island is in the very early stages of development.

The only reason why these rumours have a strain of credibility is because this show ACTUALLY EXISTS in the US already.

Only premiering in the States in October last year, the relatively new format sees about 16 former unmatched MAFS participants head to an exotic location (as well as some newbies) in an attempt to find love once again.

The hopeful singles are matched up again by ‘love experts’ except this time, they have the honeymoon before the wedding, with the season’s finale seeing couples declare whether they want to stay together or leave.

The Daily Mail claims a source has spilled that, “everyone’s messaging everyone to try and see if they’ve heard anything or know anyone that’s been formally approached by Nine."

Are you keen for an Australian version of  MAFS: Honeymoon Island? Who would you want to see return?

Who do you think would actually do it?
