Mackay Pound Rescue Has Had 60% Of Their Cats Adopted During Covid!
But they still need help!
At the start of the Covid outbreak the Mackay Pound Rescue had 75 cats in care, but with everyone in self isolation they have seen a record number of adoptions. Robyn caught up with Sam & Rach to explain:
As it stands, these are currently still up for adoption:
7 Long term adult cats in care - $160
Their ages 1-4 years ( it would be amazing to say the least if we can get these 7 a home)
3 teen cats - 5 months old - $190
2 new adults -$190
1 pregnant mum being picked up from the council pound and due to have her babies any day
Possibly taking in another adult cat from the council pound this Friday
3 kittens who will be ready in 4 weeks roughly
7 kittens who are currently 3 weeks so will be ready in about 6-7 weeks
*** Reminder - all our cats come with worming, flea treatment, vaccinations to date, microchip and are desexed and also have a free 2 week health check At Northern Beaches Vet Hospital.
Check out all these cuties and why not consider adopting?
