Last night, Disney announced it would be remaking beloved Christmas classic Home Alone, as well as Cheaper by the Dozen, Night at the Museum and Diary of a Wimpy Kid - all of which, literally nobody asked for.
Although the films won’t have a cinematic release, they will be developed for the company’s new streaming service Disney+.
Of all the films announced, Home Alone received the most major backlash, with fans around the world making their displeasure with the production known all over social media.
Now, Macaulay Culkin has commented on the news with this cheeky Instagram post:
“This is what an updated Home Alone would actually look like.”
“I would still watch it though,” Sarah Michelle Gellar responded, while Porn Hub commented “So no cheese pizza then…?”
What do you think of the announcement?
