M1 Closed Northbound For Three Nights

Drivers are being warned about major maintenance work on the M1 over the next couple of nights.

From 8pm to 5am Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, a 10 kilometre section of the motorway will be closed northbound between Hunter Expressway and John Renshaw Drive.

Traffic heading north will be diverted onto the Hunter Expressway and then onto John Renshaw Drive adding 10 to 15 minutes to the trip.

Southbound traffic won't be affected.

There may also be lane closures on Thursday night if wet weather delays construction.
