Luna Park Has A Brand New Exciting Ride For The Family

Sydney just got a whole lot more fun!

Luna Park Sydney has launched a brand-new family thrill ride, Volaré, a magical wave swinger overlooking Sydney Harbour! 

The latest addition to Sydney’s only fun park will be the highest and largest wave swinger in Australia. Volaré, meaning ‘to fly’ in Italian, swings high over Luna Park, with incredible views of the water and Sydney Harbour Bridge as it spins at speeds of up to 65 km per hour.

Volaré is Sydney’s first new permanent ride since the opening of Wet’n’Wild in 2013, and Luna Park’s first new permanent ride since the opening of the Hair Raiser five years ago.

Specially handcrafted for Luna Park Sydney by a world class Italian ride manufacturer, Volaré will enhance Sydney’s skyline with a magical display of over 3,500 LED lights.

The ride’s artwork was designed with both Luna Park’s heritage and vibrant personality in mind, featuring iconic Showtime characters such as Luna Bob and Luna Belle.

Volaré officially opened its gates over the weekend alongside the Park’s food stalls and other attractions, and is the perfect reason to head back into Luna Park Sydney this month and the upcoming school holidays.
