Erin and Eden from Love Island have ended their relationship after dating for several months.

The couple got together on the very first episode of Love Island, and came second in the show's big finale. However living in different cities seems to have been too much for them once they got back to Australia.

Both Eden and Erin took to Instagram to share the following message with their fans:

We wanted to share with you, that after much deliberation, we have quietly parted ways. We look back and cherish the time we have spent together, the memories we have created, in both Spain and in Australia.

We can’t thank each and everyone of you enough, for the support and love you have shown us, but we have to be honest within ourselves as we realise that our forever as a couple, is no longer.

We look forward to supporting each other moving forward and remain best friends.

Love Erin & Eden

Of the remaining Love Island couples, Millie and Mark are still going strong and recently went to Hong Kong together.

And Josh and Amelia have also taken things to the next level with Josh officially asking Amelia to be his girlfriend.

It's been a tough week for fans of love based reality TV shows. Bachelor in Paradise couples Jarrod and Keira and Megan and Jake both called it quits, while our final MAFS pair Carly and Troy also confirmed they had split.
