Two Lockyer Valley men faced the Richlands Magistrates Court today in relation to an alleged stabbing of a man at a Brisbane rail station on Saturday.

Police attended the Graceville Train Station at 10.45am following reports of an altercation between a group of men on the train.

A 24-year-old male, sustained injuries to his abdomen and chest and was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

A 29-year-old man from Rosewood was charged with one count each of assault occasioning bodily harm, wounding, going armed so as to cause fear, possess dangerous drug and possess drug utensil.

A 29-year-old man from Glenore Grove was charged with one count each of assault occasioning bodily harm, wounding and going armed so as to cause fear.

Both men fronted court today.
