POLICE are reminding residents to lock their car doors when leaving them unattended. Thieves often devoting hours to checking doors on parked cars in driveways and on the road at night. One in particular breaking in and stealing loose change from a car on DONALDSON STREET WEST MACKAY THURSDAY. If you notice any suspicious behavior please report it to POLICE immediately


POLICE are investigating an ANDERGROVE burglary. A home on SHELLEY COURT was broken into sometime between midnight on Monday and 5pm Thursday.Thoroughly searching the home the thieves took multiple passports and other items. If you saw anything around this time please contact Police


Foreign Investment could be the next big economy booster for MACKAY. Council agreeing to fund an overseas visit for Mayor Greg Williamson and Deputy Mayor Amanda Camm. The pair joining Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and other mayors at the official trade mission to the annual international BIO Convention in BOSTON.
