Leitchville Gunbower have won back to back Heathcote District football league premiership after holding on for a 94-85 point win over North Bendigo at Huntly on Saturday.

After an even first quarter, the Bombers took the game by the scruff of the neck, booting 7 goals to none in the second quarter to take a 37 point lead into half time.

The Bulldogs fought bravely in the second half to get the margin down to 20 points at 3QT and within single digits in the last quarter, but ultimately ran out of time.

Jordan Ford was named best on ground after kicking 6 goals in a losing effort - Matt Perri and Jake Van Dongen both kicked 4 each for the Bombers.

It was the second flag of the day for the Bombers after the Under 17s won their 3rd premiership in a row, defeating Lockington Bamawm United 70-57.

The reserves premiership went to Colbinabbin, who defeated White Hills 88-41.

In the netball - White Hills broke their 8 year A grade premiership drought by defeating reigning premiers Colbinabbin 48-46.

Rhian Moresi from the Demons was named player of the match after scoring 19 goals, with the win breaking the Grasshoppers 3 year premiership streak.

White Hills dominated the day - also winning the A reserve, B grade, and B reserve grand finals - Elmore were the Under 17's premiers and Colbinabbin won the Under 15's
