Authorities are investigating an outbreak of Legionnaire’s disease in Melbourne’s CBD.

Three cases of the infection have been reported to the Department of Health.

Air conditioning cooling towers are being tested and cleaned in the suspected pocket of the city, which is south of Bourke St, between Queen and Spring streets.

The men, aged between 52 and 74 years, all worked or visited the city in the days before they became unwell around February 6 to 14.
