Townsville drivers have been left feeling warm and fuzzy after a random act of kindness in the middle of Kirwan.

While stopped on Ross River Road heading towards the city, a motorbike rider's bag fell onto the bitumen.

A close by driver could see this could be a tricky situation for the rider to get through, so he ran to his aid.

Be Kind Townsville, explained the moment on their Facebook page.

"Here’s a shout out to the guy in the green board shorts for getting out of his car and running across the road to help this gentleman who seemed to have dropped his bag on the ground which had caused him to lose his balance on the bike leaving him in a bit of a pickle given how heavy the bike is!"

With two sets of muscles on the scene, they managed the manoeuvre their way through it.
