Kilos Of Clothes Destroyed In Ross River LifeLine Fire

Firies were on the scene today

It's the time of year when a lot of us are clearing out the cupboards and starting the new year fresh.

Sadly, kilos of clothes donated to LifeLine on Ross River Road won't be used to help locals in need.

Early this morning Townsville firies attended the fire where they found boxes of donations up in flames.

Blankets, shoes, and clothes were among the rubble that was left behind.

If you've been following the Marie Kondo tidy trend, make sure the items you're donating are placed INSIDE the donation bins at your nearest op shop, not beside them.

The fire did not impact the structure of the charity store.
