Something for the kids at the Showground this weekend.

Science Alive is on tomorrow and Sunday and children under 18 get in for free!

The largest single interactive science exhibition in Australia will bring together SA's big names in science and technology with over 60 exhibitors providing hands-on fun that's interactive, dynamic, fun, and educational for all ages.

Spanning over 17,000 m2 the event's expected to attract over 30,000 people over the two days. 

Today, 5,500 students from 80 schools will check out the exhibits on a special preview day.

The State Government's also announced extra funding for the Science Alive Careers Day, a total of $45,000 over three years.
