Kanye West has found him at the centre of controversy again, after it was alleged he had stolen designs to pass them off as his own Yeezy originals.

Now, he has taken to Twitter to admit he passed off a sketch by ex-Nike designer Tony Spackman as the original work of a Yeezy team member.

He was first called out by Diet Prada's Instagram, as he had posted the picture as a ‘study base’ for a Yeezy design.

Unfortunately, it was identical to a sketch that Spackman produced for Nike back in 2005 for the ‘Living Apparel’ collection.

Spaceman now works for Givenchy and posted a side-by-side comparison pic of the two designs t show he had ripped off his “10-year-old Nike sketch.”

Kanye responded, saying it was the fault of a “newly-hired designer” and continued to then credit Tony.

“Today I learned that a newly hired designer on the Yeezy team presented work that was not of their own. This person has immediately been let go from the Yeezy brand. In a moment of inspiration, energy and excitement I had posted this sketch and would like to acknowledge the true creator of this amazing work, Tony Spackman.”

Looks like this won’t be happening again...
