We all remember when Keira Maguire announced that she and Jarrod Woodgate had split up, because we were all damn devastated.
We all just want Jarrod to be happy dammit!
At the time, Keira explained that Jarrod broke up with her because he "didn’t like the fact I didn’t have a full-time job… because my job was doing endorsements and he’s about working hard in a nine-to-five job."
However, it looks like that wasn't all.
Jarrod spoke to WHO magazine earlier this morning and explained that during their relationship, he would only see Keira two days a week and when that happened, all she wanted to do was take pictures for Instagram.
"Her Instagram following is overwhelming and it was taking over our relationship. She's purely Instagram-focused and that takes up a lot of time.
"Being in the public eye, we made it look like we had a perfect relationship and that’s what people see on Instagram. I found myself turning into something I wasn’t [and] I couldn’t fake it anymore.
"I'd spend two days a week with her and it [was] basically all Instagram-based. It's hard because you're competing with 177,000 other people that follow her, but I shouldn't have to compete."
He explained that he eventually decided to end things because he felt that it was hard to have a "genuine connection" with someone who was so fixated on social media.
"Keira is a beautiful woman and I had the best times I've had in my life with her. But I didn't see it going anywhere.
"For me, it wasn't a genuine connection because everything we did went through Instagram and I'm a farm guy who hardly touches his phone."
He also revealed that Keira currently makes “over $1,500 for every Instagram post.”
Last week, Jarrod also revealed that after they had split, he allowed Keira to stay living in his Brighton home whilst he stayed with friends.
