South Australia's weather is going to stink over the Australia Day long weekend, with temperatures over 40 degrees forecast.
Hot and humid conditions are making their way south over the next few days, with temperatures set to soar.
Adelaide will cop 35 degrees on Thursday before the temperature rises again on Australia Day, reaching a top of 38.
It won't stop there, though.
Both Saturday and Sunday are tipped to reach 42 degrees in what's set to be a stinking hot weekend.
All of South Australia will cop the heat, with areas such as Tarcoola forecast for an incredibly hot top of 47 degrees on Saturday.
The respite will come after the weekend, with the temperature plummeting to 24 degrees across the state Monday.
