12 year old Wodonga girl set to hit the International Runway
After taking out 2nd Runner-up (Junior Division) at Miss Fashion Week Australia, 12 year old, Isabelle Little from Wodonga, is heading to Dallas, Texas to hit the International runway.
It’s been a whirlwind ride for Isabelle and her family. Since entering the regional competition in Melbourne and taking out the State Title for the Junior division, Isabelle went on to compete in the National titles. Coming second runner-up in her age category, Isabelle landed a coveted invitation to compete in the U.S.A.
Miss Fashion Week Team Australia will consist of 12 models and their support teams (family and friends) to represent Australia on the International stage.
Just before her 12th birthday, Isabelle decided that she would like to model. She doesn’t want to be a model to become famous; but to meet new people, make new friends and learn to do things that she’d never thought she’d do before.
“Miss Fashion Week has given me so many new opportunities that I have never had before. As this is my first year of modelling I am so impressed and proud of myself that I have made it to an International level. It has been amazing to meet all of the other girls and they should be extremely proud of themselves, they were all amazing.”
“Miss Fashion Week has changed me in a good way. It has given me better deportment skills and it has taught me that no matter what you do or who you are, you are you and that is enough.”
“When I first started modelling it was something different that I thought I could try. My first competition was Miss Fashion Week State. I was extremely nervous but as I learned previously, nerves are just excitement. Now that I have done Nationals I am much more confident in myself. I have developed many new skills, learned to think positively about myself and others and I’ve have learned to love my body and love myself as I am.”
Isabelle is eagerly awaiting Internationals which is being held 1st December 2018 at the Fairmont Hotel Dallas, Texas. Being part of Team Australia, Isabelle will have the opportunity to experience Dallas through participation in a team event on the Thursday. She will then experience a day of model training and meet Ms Vera Wang, owner and founder of Miss Fashion Week on the Friday. The event culminates on Saturday evening with Isabelle competing in the Junior section to find the very first Miss Fashion Week International Junior. Following the Junior division will be the announcements of Miss Fashion Week International Teen and Miss Fashion Week International.
