Rockhampton Regional Council’s microchipping and vaccination clinics have experienced major success, with hundreds of residents taking advantage of the clinics!
The vaccinations protect pups against life-threatening viruses parvovirus, distemper, and infectious hepatitis.
Chair of the Planning and Regulatory Committee Councillor Ellen Smith said that the response to the Council's clinics has been fantastic, and announced dates for the next clinic on December 2nd at the Gracemere Community Hall in Barry Street. The clinic will run from 7:30am - 12pm, with another anticipated to be held January.
Discounted vaccination prices of $15 will be available on the day for owners who can provide one of the following:
- Commonwealth Seniors Health Card
- Pensioner Concession Card
- Health Care Card
- Newstart Allowance
