Meet Ryley Ross.

A 12-year-old Townsville student who has had enough of the local crime situation.

Ryley loves going to TAPA classes three times a week and cheers loud for her Cowboys, but something in her city isn't quite right.

Why isn't more being done about youth crime?

Ryley and her Mum Renae sat down with Carley Whittington to share their story on episode one of the #thisistownsville podcast. The second part of the episode has lots of guidance from Townsville Child Psychologist Caroline Seri who shares tips on when to talk with children about crime and how to ensure that the whole household feels safe.
