Colin Kroll, the CEO and cofounder of mobile game HQ Trivia and video platform Vine has passed away at the age of 34.
Kroll was pronounced dead after emergency services responded to a 911 call to his New York apartment overnight.
His girlfriend reportedly called police and asked them to check on him.
Police are investigating the death as a suspected drug overdose.
HQ Trivia has tweeted the following:
“We learned today of the passing of our friend and founder, Colin Kroll, and it's with deep sadness that we say goodbye. Our thoughts go out to his family, friends and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.”
