These days, it seems like every iconic film and TV show is getting a reboot.

The latest to be added to the list is Hocus Pocus, the classic witchcraft movie that we all loved, which starred the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker and Bette Midler

The original cast won’t be reprising their roles, sadly, but there’s some major changes on the way!

The new movie is thought be based on a new YA novel, Hocus Pocus and The All-New Sequel, which will feature a lesbian storyline

According to Autostraddle, the novel features two queer characters, Poppy and Isabella, and their friend Travis, who are caught in their own battle against the Sanderson sisters - who have returned from the dead for Halloween night 2018!

Poppy is the daughter of original Hocus Pocus characters Allison and Max, and develops feelings for Isabella as they investigate the Sanderson legend.

This is supposed to serve as the foundation for the new film and we can’t wait to see how it all turns out!
