Police are investigating burglaries committed at a Claremont Takeaway shop and the Zambrero Restaurant in Moonah this morning.

In the early hours, two men broke into the takeaway shop on Wyndham Road in Claremont. A considerable amount of damage was caused to the front doors to gain entry. A cash tin containing an amount of money was stolen.

At around 3.15am, two men broke into the Zambrero Restaurant on Main Road in Moonah. Again, two men forced the rear door to gain entry. Nothing was stolen.
