COVID-19 has been an absolute pain in the butt for event co-ordinators across the country, with major events being cancelled and postponed left, right and centre. 
Unfortunately for foodies, 'The Taste Of Tasmania Festival' which usually takes place at the end of the year, was no exception, having officially been cancelled last week. 
This hasn't stopped the State Government from searching for a less risky alternative, with the State Government and Hobart City Council currently chasing submissions from experienced event co-ordinators for a different food & beverage celebration to finish of the year. 
Jimmy & Nath spoke with Lord Mayor, Anna Reynolds this morning, to answer a few questions about the cancellation and to hear a few of Nath's suggestions for an alternative food festival. 
Nath went ahead and pitched a few of his ideas, with Lord Mayor Reynolds considering (or pretending to consider) at least one of them.
