While many of us choose to go to university to get into careers we’re interested in, some of us aren’t interested in the extra 3 to sometimes 10 years of study to pursue a career. 

It’s all a personal choice, but there definitely is a stigma that if you don’t get a degree, you’ll never get a high-paying job… but thats not exactly true!

So, we thought we’d take a look at some of the highest paying jobs that do NOT require a 3-4 year Bachelor’s degree!

The average Australian income in 2014 was $56,300, and Businessinsider.com has compiled a list of higher paying jobs that exceed the average income!

At the most, they require only a high-school diploma, perhaps a two-year associate degree or certain training in the specific field of work, and hard work to get to the top!

Air Traffic Controllers

Median annual wage: $108, 040

Qualifications required: Commercial Pilot’s Licence (CPL) –  200 hours of prior flying experience

Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) – 1500 hours of prior flying experience

Projected job openings (through 2020): 10, 200

Work experience: None

Description: "Monitor and direct the movement of aircraft. Median annual wages of air traffic controllers are the highest of any occupation in which workers typically do not need a bachelor’s degree.”
