If you’re heading out to enjoy the Ekka this year, translink.com.au have some great options for smooth travel to and from the show. 

Buses

Herston busway station is the main bus hub this year, with shuttles from Carindale and Eight Mile Plains and route 330, 333 and 340 buses from Chermside.

Trains

Ekka loop services will run regularly to Exhibition station from 8.50am to 11pm, stopping at Roma Street, Central and Fortitude Valley stations. For those who like it retro, a steam train will run the loop from 10am until 3.45pm on the Ekka Show Holiday, Wednesday 15 August.
