When you're packing for a trip overseas, trying to fit in enough clothes can be an actual nightmare! It can take hours to fit everything you need into your suitcase and once you do, you have to sit on it just so it will zip up!
We've all been there and what's even more annoying than not being able to fit everything in your suitcase?
Having to take everything out to reach something that's at the very bottom of it and spending another few hours re-packing it.
Let's face it, packing is the worst.
Luckily, Busabout's new ambassador Leanne Melody has a few handy packing tips that will save you A LOT of time and cost no more that $3!
Leanne spends all of her time travelling the world and before she became Busabout's new ambassador, she had already travelled to 28 countries, so she's the real deal!
If you're struggling to fit all of your clothes into your suitcase before an international adventure, she recommends rolling your clothes instead of folding them because it'll not only save space, but reduce the amount of wrinkles you'll get in your garments too!
She told Escape that when she discovered this helpful hack, she never went back to folding!
"On the road I’ve learnt there is an art to rolling and stuffing."
But what about all of the stuff that gets lost in your bag when you need it urgently?
Raise your hand if you've had to unpack your entire suitcase just to find a spare sock before hopping on a flight...
It's the most annoying thing to have happen before checking in your luggage and Leanne says the best way to avoid it is to purchase packing boxes to organise your luggage.
"After this trip, I can’t travel without packing cubes.
"They’re $2 from Daiso and they’re the best thing ever to organise your clothes in, and keep everything compact and clutter free."
These babies are just like large toiletry bags and will fit all of your knick knacks in them!
You can have one for your underwear and socks, in case you need a spare, one for your toiletries and makeup, a larger one for your pants and another larger one for your shirts!
Daiso, if you haven't heard of it, is a store that sells absolutely everything for $2.80, so their packing cubes are, yep, only $2.80 each!
This girl is a genius!
