With the Coronavirus finding its second wind in Victoria, the state has been sent into lockdown as of midnight last night.

This means many people living on the border, will still need to cross back and fourth for work and other important commitments regularly. 

Locals were quick to jump online and apply for their border permit, sending the website into overdrive and eventually crashing the site on multiple occasions. The border this morning was equally as busy, creating delays of up to two hours for those just trying to get work. 

Tim & Jess spoke with Mayor of Wodonga, Anna Speedie this morning to find out more about the new border permits. 

Mayor Speedie tells us who qualifies for a pass, whether visiting loved ones across the border will be permitted and how we can avoid crashing the border permit website once again.
