Great news for the Murrumbidgee community!!

Thanks to the Black Dog Institute, a brand new suicide prevention trial called Lifespan has been implemented, aiming to teach residents different preventative strategies to reduce suicide rates throughout the region.

The FREE training involves a one hour online course, where participants will learn how to approach and help someone who may be suicidal.

With many Australian's aware of the 'R U OK' approach, Lifespan are aiming to promote QPR training which stands for Question, Persuade and Refer, incorporating the concept into nine different preventative strategies. If you're hoping to get involved, visit the website to sign-up!

If you or someone you know needs help, head to beyond blue or contact Lifeline on 13 11 14.
