If you watched last night's episode of The Bachelor Australia, you would've seen that the gorgeous Brooke from WA left on her own accord because the Honey Badger just couldn't give her what she wanted yet: true luuuurv. Heather, Dan & Ben chatted to her to see why, oh why she decided to leave when she was SO close to the end.
Ben cut straight to it, "What happened? you spent more time with Nick than anyone else, why this decision?"
"I think in this experience you try to stay true to yourself and be as grounded as much as possible. But I think you also go into it knowing what you want and I stuck to it. I wanted Nick to tell me in a way that he wanted to be with me or he could potentially see something with me and I wasn't getting that back, so I made the decision to leave early," Brooke said.
"When you say you know what you want, you know what you got yourself into - you're on The Bachelor. you're essentially up against his two girlfriends, it would be unfair to give that sort of ultimatum. Do you realise that or is it just a vibe you got?", Ben asked.
"I'm a big believer if someone is what you want, you'll know. I think if you're pretty smart and intuitive with yourself, you'll know what you want and you'll go get it. I needed commitment or some reassurance", Brooke said.
Now, as we all know, Heather was on Sam Wood's season of The Bachelor Australia. So, you could say she knows a thing or two about how it works.
"The whole point of the show is to move through until the end and then you find out. He can't say all of those things that you're wanting him to say, Brooke. He's not able to do that otherwise the show wouldn't exist, it would've ended last night. He would've gone, "yeah, you're right, it's you. I don't really want to be with the other two girls" and the show would've ended, which he's not really supposed to do," Heather said.
"You are right. I feel like two people should actually compromise and that's what love is, it's about compromising certain things. I think even the consideration or the thought should be processed on both ends, regardless. It is a big commitment and it should be something you both slightly think about or you just throw it out there", Brooke said.
Heather, Dan & Ben were all getting serious The Bachelorette vibes from the chat and asked Brooke if she would consider turning the tables and giving out the roses.
"I don't know how to answer that question because I've been asked quite a few times. I think right now it's a bit raw and there's still a lot of emotion attached to the whole process, so I'm just really focusing on myself and trying to get myself in a stronger place."
BUT, is she single?!
"I am still single, yeah." - hear that, BOYS?! ;)
