The Volvo Trucks Handling the Outback is a two-day charity bike ride from Toowoomba to Gordon Country, which raises money to support health services in the Toowoomba region. For its inaugural year in 2018, the Volvo Trucks Handling the Outback will be raising funds for the BreastScreen Queensland Toowoomba Service, to ensure that women continue to have the best possible chance of detecting breast cancer early.

The event will kick off from Harvey Norman Toowoomba to Gordon Country on the Saturday morning (it is a magnificent venue) and head back on the Sunday.

You can sign up and not actually ride you can head out on the bus if riding isn’t your thing.

Participants who take up this unique two-day, 220km challenge will enjoy the a picturesque bicycle ride down to Gordon Country, followed by a night of activities and entertainment at the Gordon Country site. Riders will continue their adventure on Sunday morning with another bicycle ride back to Toowoomba where they will return to an eager crowd of supporters.

The 2018 event will not only raise funds for the local BreastScreen service, but also raise awareness of this vital service in our community and give the opportunity for our community to help women in the region.
