A man has been charged over the discovery of a stash of drugs and firearms inside an industrial shed at Burleigh Heads.
Officers from the Rapid Action patrol group executed a search warrant on a Township Drive address around 1am on Sunday August 12.
Inside they allegedly uncovered methylamphetamine, MDMA and utensils, as well as a 9mm handgun, a Co2 propelled pellet handgun and ammunition.
A 48-year-old man from Miami has since been charged with two counts each of possession of a dangerous drug and unlawful possession of a weapon and one count each of possession of property suspected of being used in the commission of a drug offence, authority required to possess explosives (ammunition) and possession of a utensil.
He is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on August 30.
