Griffith Regional Theatre have teamed up with Piccolo Family Farm to discover new local talents with the comp open to all musicians aged 26 and under.

In addition to a cash prize, the act who takes out 1st place will have the opportunity to play the opening set at A Day in the Orchard music festival on May 5th. Runners up will get to perform at My Fest in October alongside headline artists, and a prize for best original song is up for grabs.

Grass Roots organiser Ben Ceccato said that the competition is a great opportunity for aspiring musicians to gain experience and exposure.

“We know there are lots of amazing young musicians... We really want to see them get up on stage and show us what they can do so that we can support them to take their music to the next level."    - Ben Ceccato

Whether you're performing or just supporting our local talent, head along to Grass Roots at Griffith Regional Theatre on Sunday 3rd March. Entry is free, but don't forget to RSVP through Eventbrite for your chance to win 2 tickets to A Day in the Orchard!
