It appears new Prime Minister Scott Morrison has a hard task in front of him, if he is to restore public confidence in the Coalition before the next election.
The voter backlash from the leadership spill has been illustrated in the latest Newspoll, which shows last week's chaos has sent the Coalition's primary vote down to 33 percent.
Labor leads 56 to 44 percent, two party preferred.
Meantime, the West Perth office of WA Liberal senator Michaelia Cash has been vandalised, with the word "shame" sprayed across it's walls at the weekend.
The phrase, "Tony and Peter must resign" was also etched across the footpath, presumably in reference to Peter Dutton and Tony Abbott.
Police are investigating and have asked anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1300 333 000.
