Medical Centres in Latrobe Valley are experiencing a shortage of general practitioners, which has led to a clinic in Morwell closing its doors for a fortnight.

Local health advocate Jane Anderson has identified the issue as a major concern for residents, as Latrobe Valley struggles to bring doctors into the region and retain them in long-term positions. 

The dilemma has partly contributed to Morwell's Hollie Drive Medical Centre closing for two weeks.
